DUTIES OF HOSTESSES

1. Have a sign-up sheet available on each play day for the following week.

2.  In order to work on establishing handicaps for the season, all play days for April and May will be scheduled as regular golf.  Beginning in June the 1st/3rd/5th weeks of the month will be scheduled as regular golf.  The scheduling of the 2nd and 4th weeks of the month will be left to the discretion of that month's hostesses.  This does not apply to special events and tournaments scheduled during the season which will be the responsibility of the Tournament Committee.

3.  Prior to Tuesday's play, the hostesses get together to make up the pairings and plan the weekly play.  All guidelines for weekly play

can be found in the CHWGA notebook.

4.  On Tuesday, collect money, give out the pairings and assist on tournament dates.

5.  After collecting the money, keep $1 from each player for the

 prizes and give the remaining money to the Club Manager.  The money collected for the prizes should be given to the Tournament Chair or one of her representatives. 

6.  Tally up scores at the end of play and designate the winners on

 the weekly sheet that is kept in the CHWGA notebook.                                                                        

7.  Be responsible for publicity for the day’s play to the  "Salisbury Post" Sports Department.  Preferably by FAX (704-639-0003) or
